Caitlyn Young

Engineer - Adjunct Instructor - Owner

Caitlyn is a chemical engineer with a strong emphasis on controls. After graduating, she joined a large integrator, where she gained invaluable experience working on a major greenfield project. Later, she were assigned to a reaction skid project, during which they met their now-husband. While balancing career growth, she watched as her husband launched his own controls company. Eventually, the timing was right, and she made the leap to join him full-time.

Since then, they have worked together to grow the business, expanding their team and navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. Alongside her engineering work, they also teach PLC classes at a local college, sharing their knowledge with the next generation of engineers. In her spare time, she loves traveling with their husband, spending weekends visiting farmers markets, and trying out fresh restaurants in Kansas City.
